Making the University of Iowa respect the First Amendment
When University of Iowa graduate student was disciplined without due process for merely expressing his views, the Kirkwood Institute stepped in to protect his rights. After lodging an ethics complaint, the university backed down and found that faculty and administrators had violated ethics policies by attempting to shut down free speech on campus.
